Spirit of Compassion Awards
This fundraising and celebration event will honor local leaders who have mobilized faith and other community resources to alleviate homelessness in a spirit of compassion, hope and love. The evening includes an awards presentation, food & wine, a silent auction and music by local artists. Past auction items included trips to Bali, Hawaii, spa & hotel packages (items subject to change).

All sponsors recognized in electronic newsletter. Lost Pine and above have names on invitation, signage, program and reserved table. Oak levels are recognized at the award ceremony and on our website.
Honorees

- Founder or someone involved in poverty issues at the root level.
- Community Scion
- Community member whose work has brought new life to many – a person who helped form and grow organizations
dedicated to alleviating hunger, homelessness and poverty.
- Community Gardener
- Community member whose work and mentoring of others has actively shaped the field of homelessness services in
Austin.
- Seedling
- Volunteer responsible for early or continuing growth and development of FFH's programs.
- New Seeds
- Volunteers who do their best work in the trenches working closely with homeless families with children or adults,
recruiting new congregations and community groups, etc.
- Evergreen
- Long-time volunteer who has made volunteering for social services their way of life.
