Feed My People Volunteers
The Feed My People breakfast like so many other aspects of our lives has been impacted by COVID-19. We are pleased to announce that our Tuesday/Thursday breakfasts will be returning to indoor service beginning Tuesday, March 22.
Volunteers Are required to register in advance to serve as we will continue to observe applicable CDC guidelines during the breakfast. All volunteers are asked to be vaccinated for COVID-19 and will be required to wear a mask throughout their time of service. In addition, service groups that volunteer are asked to not send more than three members to a breakfast and to list each expected attendee by name. Finally, if you have signed up and find you will not be able to serve, please return to the signup sheet and follow the instructions to delete your registration, preferably at least 24 hours in advance of your service time. We need everyone to fulfill their commitment so that we can meet our client’s needs and expectations. Failure to attend may result in your being asked to not serve at future breakfasts.

Want to Volunteer in
Do you have ideas on ways you would like to volunteer with us?
Do you have a talent, skill, resource or passion that can benefit our families experiencing homelessness?
We would love to hear your ideas!
Past volunteers have knitted warm scarves and hats. Others have engaged with their friends or group to raise funds, collect personal hygiene items or non-perishable foods, and other creative activities. Some volunteer to tutor school aged children with their school work (via Zoom), assist with clerical tasks in the office, and help with upcoming events.
Due to confidentiality and privacy, it is rare for our volunteers to have direct contact with our families. For those type interactions, we recommend volunteering for our Feed My People program.
