Advocacy

Are you interested in working to bring about the systemic changes necessary to prevent and end homelessness in our community? The first and most important step in advocating for the homeless is to learn everything you can about homelessness, a complex and often contentious social issue.

According to Webster, an advocate is “a person who speaks or writes in support or defense of a person, cause, etc.” As an organization, we strive to be advocates for those experiencing homelessness in our community, supporting them on their journey home. We hope you’ll join us. Together, we can take the first steps toward ending homelessness in Austin.
